Develop a sustainable whole school all-inclusive approach to providing a wellbeing program









Provide a clear understanding of what to measure under Wellbeing by Conducting Internal Wellbeing Student and Staff Surveys.

Conduct surveys considering the dimensions of wellbeing and analyzing them to understand everyone’s wellbeing and mental health.

Embedding Wellbeing into the Curriculum.

Use PASS, CAT4 and consider other ‘start point’ data sets to determine cognitive abilities to make ‘value-added’ judgments.

Conduct CPD’s for the staff to understand the  dimensions of Wellbeing

Regular and ongoing activities for staff and students regarding wellbeing and mental health.


Ensure that students in all classes are involved in agreeing with the classroom agreement and classroom behavior policy.

Classroom agreement to be visible in class display

All staff (Teachers; Leaders; Admin; LSA’s; Bus Attendants) to have a confidential Personal Wellbeing Plan.


Develop a programme with the School Doctor and Clinic, term Wise to check the physical wellbeing of staff (voluntarily), e.g., BP, cardio-vascular, blood glucose, visual and auditory acuity, and mobility.


Staff Medical check- ups (to be initiated)

To conduct meditation and mindfulness sessions for students and staff.


Appointment of a Wellbeing Coordinator for KG, PS and SS


Classroom teacher/tutor role to include wellbeing parameters 

Wellbeing policy will be shared with all staff and students.


Ensure that all teachers facilitate classroom conversations, listen, and ask questions to enhance students’ growth and learning. 


Create elbow room for students to share their emotions and feelings.

Plan and execute child led entrepreneur skill other than Diwali Mela, Children can plan and execute bake sale (Child Led)- children create their own flyers and invitation. 

Children to be ‘Eco soldiers Even at Home’ e.g., Turn off lights, water tap to reduce water usage, Recycling plastics. Growing/watering plants etc.

Can collection, reusable item collection, recycle collection (paper), climate change activities.


Community Services: Help animals (rescued dogs/cats) obtain medical treatment by raising money (animal welfare RAK, Para UAE). Campaign to donate toys and books. 

All teachers will incorporate sustainable elements into the curriculum which will be evident in the lessons and activities like Paint a bag.

All teachers and parents have a clarity on SSD communication policy where First point of contact will be the class teacher.


Ensure that Parent can directly approach to wellbeing coordinator as SSD has an open policy. 


Ensure all teachers respond within 24 hours on working days & 72 hours during weekends. The issue will be resolved within 5 days.
